If you’ve been putting it off, here’s the reality: Windows 10 support officially ends on October 14, 2025. That’s just around the corner. After that, your PCs won’t get critical security patches. Translation: your business will be running wide open to threats.
If you haven’t done anything yet, don’t panic — but do act quickly. Here are your options:
Upgrade to Windows 11 (If You Can): Some PCs can make the jump smoothly. If your hardware qualifies, upgrading is the fastest way to stay secure.
Replace Outdated Machines: If your PCs are 5+ years old, odds are they won’t run Windows 11. Replacement may be your only long-term option — and waiting will only get more expensive.
Purchase Extended Security Updates (ESU): Microsoft offers paid extended support for Windows 10. This buys you up to 3 extra years of security patches — but it’s a stopgap, not a solution. Think of it as buying time while you upgrade or replace systems.

Bottom line: if you’re still on Windows 10 today, you’re out of runway. The sooner you act, the smoother (and safer) the transition will be.
