If you’ve got Microsoft 365, chances are you’re using… maybe half of it? And that’s being generous.

Most small businesses use Outlook, maybe OneDrive, and sometimes Teams — but there’s a whole buffet of features included that quietly go untouched (and unloved). Which is a shame, because some of these tools can save you time, money, and frustration — all without adding another subscription to your pile.

Here are just a few:

  • Microsoft Forms: Need a survey, internal request form, or client intake sheet? Forms is easy, free, and integrated with Excel and Teams.

  • Microsoft Defender for 365: Even the business basic and standard plans have built-in anti-phishing and safe links tools. You don’t need to layer on six different email filters.

  • Planner and To Do: Manage tasks, delegate to team members, and actually check stuff off. Works inside Teams and integrates with Outlook.

  • Viva Insights (and MyAnalytics): See when you’re most productive, get nudges to take breaks, and avoid meeting overload. It’s like a coach for your inbox.

Four features of Microsoft 365 you might not be using

At Vertechs, we help clients get more value out of tools they already pay for — including Microsoft 365. Sometimes the best tech investments are the ones you didn’t realize you already made.

Want to put those 365 dollars to better use? Let’s talk.
